We kick off our end of season celebrations and acknowledgements with a very important
announcement
As a relatively young club its vitally important we remember, record and acknowledge our beginnings. In recent times we’ve established our end of season awards and platforms, such as our presentation events, website and social media pages to record these, but as we continue to grow it is important for us to capture our history, our culture and the amazing long-term contributors to our great club as award winners.
To ensure we capture these contributions, this year our committee introduced the
NORTHERN SPIRIT BASKETBALL CLUB LEGEND AWARD
An award created to recognise club members who have made a long term, significant contribution to the club, but do not qualify for Life Membership.

SIMI CAGILABA 
Congratulations Simi Cagilaba the Cagilaba family! Simi is a founding member of our club and over the past three years has dedicated and contributed countless number of hours to the establishment and continued development of our great club as a Committee Member, Treasurer, Coach, Mentor and Referee. Simi shares his love, experience and knowledge of the game with so many and through his connections and relationships, Northern Spirit Basketball club has become home to so many basketball families, thanks to you!#vinakavakalevu
